Acting Without Words - Theatre & American Sign Language

Students will learn how to express emotional intensity without the use of words.

What you say and how you say it is very important and defines you and the characters you portray. However, did you know that 90% of the meaning behind your words is found in facial expressions and body language? Often times we believe that emotional intensity is only found in the production of our words.
This camp aims to prove the opposite as we portray vasious characters and emotions. Come learn how to harness your body language, facial expressions and other skills, such as miming and gesturing, and also learn some basic American Sign Language as we go! No prior American Sign Language skills needed. Just bring an open mind and your creativity!
Ages 7 - 15.
