The Fair…

The Monroe County Fair is your chance to join us for great exhibits, competitions, and fun all celebrating the youth, agriculture, and technology of Monroe County, NY.  Want to support local youth through 4-H?  Meet some farm animals?  Think you’ve got the best gardening, baking, or crafting skills in the county?  Want to learn more about the county you live in?  You can have fun doing all that at the Monroe County Fair!

The heart of the fair, we will have youth & open shows for all sorts of animals, flowers & vegetables, foods, arts, and crafts.

Fair Food & Local Concessions: Pulling competitions for lawnmowers, tractors, and horses.

In addition to the midway fair food treats, we will have local concessions including Spencerport’s favorite Barton’s Hots and yogurt parfaits from Upstate Niagara Milk.

Farmer’s Market
Local farmers will be joining us for a farmer’s market at the fair! Fresh, local fruits and vegetables will be available from neighboring farms to enjoy as you walk the fairgrounds or to take home for dinner.

The midway will have kid-friendly rides (for ages 12 years & under) and entertainment, and fun games for the whole family.

Live Music
Enjoy live music – free with admission! – on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the fair. Shows & times are listed on our schedule.

Monroe County Dairy Princess
Meet the Dairy Princess & her court at the fair! They will have stickers for kids and healthy foods information for all.

The Fair Association…

The Monroe County Fair and Recreation Association is an independent 501 c3 nonprofit organization which began in 1823 as the Monroe Agricultural Society. Since day one our mission has been the same….
