More Than Sports is about refining our character through basketball challenges and learning that our identity goes deeper than just being a good athlete. Our Junior Camp (ages 8-12) is July 12-15, 2009, and our Senior Camp (ages 13-17) is July 15-18, 2009. The cost is $145 for campers, and $95 for those who commute. Youth Learn to Kayak Camp

During this 4-day program (Mon-Thurs), participants learn the basic elements of whitewater kayaking and water safety. Students learn wet-exits, forward and reverse sweep strokes, peel outs, eddy turns, ferries, river reading skills and Eskimo rolls. Kids develop a strong foundation for white water slalom racing and recreational river running. 12 hours total camp.
Ages - youth age 10 and up, must be able to swim

Located at the juncture of Irondequoit Creek and Irondequoit Bay, this paddlesport camp exposes children to the beautiful wetlands of Ellison Park. Our instructors teach basic/intermediate canoe and kayak technique in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Safety and rescue skills are implemented throughout the week. Sessions run Mon-Thur with Fri. as a rain date. Campers may choose either an am or pm time slot. 7-13 yrs.

F.I.T. Basketball Camp is a comprehensive basketball clinic designed to teach young athletes the fundamentals and vital skills necessary to become exceptional players in the future.
2006 information: July 10th - 14th, Grade 8-12. Times: 9 AM - 3 PM, Cost: $60. Registration fee includes T-shirt. Baseball and softball classes throughout the year, on vacation breaks, and in the summer.

Morning Tennis Programs at Brighton High School, 10:00-11:30
FUTURE STARS: For beginner and advanced beginner tennis players. All basic functions are covered, such as grip, groundstrokes, volley, serve, scoring & footwork.
JUNIOR COMPETITIVE: For the intermediate and advanced tennis player. JV and Varsity participation are usually the goals for students in this class, with some participants already playing tournaments and wanting to play college tennis. Competetive drilling along with technical work and point play are incorporated into this group.
Afternoon Tennis Programs at Locust Hill Country Club, 1:00-5:00
FUTURE STARS and JUNIOR COMPETITIVE will meet at the same time.
Full Day Program:
Any student wishing to attend a full day camp is welcome. Class will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Brighton High School. Transportation will be provided to Locust Hill country Club for the afternoon program. Students should be picked up between 5:00 and 5:30 at Locust Hill, except for Tuesday, which will be at Brighton High School.
MATCH PLAY--If you are interested in getting in some practice matches, there will be Match Play days on Tuesday from 1:30-5:00 at Brighton High School. This is a good opportunity to try to incorporate what we have worked on in class into matches.
If it rains, class will be held at Manhattan Square Tennis Center, located next to the Strong Museum, 8 Manhattan Square Drive, 325-3219.

Skate camps run during the weeks of winter break and spring break, as well as summer starting in late June. The cost of this camp is less if you register before June 1st. Lunch is included everyday for all camps. Camp hours are from 9am to 4pm. Early drop and late pick up are available. Skate camp is also available for private and home schooled students that get out early for summer vacation. That Camp starts early May 1st, and run Monday thru Friday. At least 6 kids are needed for private camps.
