The Camp is for children of any age and, as in Scandinavian Forest Kindergartens that the camp is modeled on, parents and caretakers are welcome to participate and assist. Safety is a high priority. Earth Camp

Campers will choose a camp name, participate in crafts and hikes, and gain valuable knowledge of the natural world through hands-on exploration of nature center habitats including ponds, woodland and meadows. Activities we will be focusing on include orienteering, letter-boxing, bird watching and study, team building, problem solving and outdoor skills. Each week of full-day camp will culminate in Earth Camp Survival Challenge, an event where campers get a chance to mingle with other age groups and put themselves to the test by completing a series of tasks and challenges, both physical and mental, based on what they have learned over the course of the week. Our youngest group, the Searchers (ages 4-6), have a special week reserved for them at the end of the summer. They may choose a morning or an afternoon session.
