Spend the winter outside and making friends at Bristol Mountain! Weeski is a 10 week class program that is designed for intermediate skiers between the ages of 5 and 7 with smaller classes of 6 or fewer.
For advanced to expert skiers, an introduction to the basic fundamentals of ski racing for those ages 8-18. Morning Star Race Park season pass is included. Forerunners will finish the season by competing in the BMRC championship race.
Beginner I Level: This class introduces the child to safe entries and exits, blowing bubbles, back floats with assistance, and learning the paddle stroke. Instructional Floatation Devices (IFDs) such as bubbles, barbells, noodles and kickboards may be used.
This program in an indoor league that competes against other local YMCA branches. Participants should have a basic understanding of the game and possess basic soccer skills. FUTSAL rules will be applied and are focused on footwork and ball control.
Intermediate to advanced skiers or snowboarders, ages 8-18, are introduced to the terrain parks. Learn the technical and tactical aspects of terrain park features. Participants will also be instructed in flat terrain and moguls.
Advanced to expert skiers and snowboarders, ages 8-18, who desire to improve their technique in a variety of snowsports conditions including the terrain park, moguls, racing, or just plain skiing and riding. Morning Star Race Park season pass is included.
Learn how to tell your story. Using provided technology, youth will learn to integrate different shooting techniques to produce their very own short film. The program will teach youth about stop motion filming, Claymation, and live shooting. January 7-February 11. Saturday morning 9-10am.
Join us for some fun and friendly competition. Week one is all about skills and drills. Prior to week two, we will post rosters and schedules at the front desk so you can find out when to report. Following week one, games times will be determined by total number of participants.
