Where to get Christmas Trees
in the greater Rochester, NY area

The magic of Christmas would not be complete for some families without the perfect hunt for the perfect tree. Cutting it yourself can add that special magic. The Ross family tradition for the last several years brings us to Keymel's Christmas Tree Farm in Walworth, partly because they often have free pony rides for the kids (depending on the weather). Stokoe Farm is often mentioned as a great place to go on the west side. But there are lots of other great places in the area to get fresh-cut trees. Below are the ones we have been able to find that have web sites.

Note from KOA reader: This farm has any tree, any size, cut your own for $40 (2007) and in the local Advertiser paper, they always run a coupon for $5 off that price. They have a wagon on the weekend to haul the trees out and have a little hot dog and hot cocoa stand there as well. Dogs on a leash are welcome and it is a great place to take the kids. We have gone there every year since moving to Victor 6 years ago, and the price is right.
