Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers STEAM classes for children, and sometimes adults. The goal of the Robot Foundry is to share the fun of STEAM learning with children everywhere and inspire them to continue a life full of exploration, problem-solving, and imagination. We do this by offering fun, creative and educational classes, parties, camps and field trips to children 2-13 years old.

Discovery Academy of Science & Art (DASA) Preschool nurtures the development of the whole child by providing a caring environment rich in discovery and imagination. Formerly the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) Preschool, DASA Preschool is an independent and inquiry-based program. Through active play, young students make sense of their world, gain new information and develop a healthy perception of self and community.

Brooklyn Robot Foundry offers super fun and interactive robot-building classes for kids 2-14 years old! The Foundry’s signature approach allows students to learn engineering through hands-on building and creativity wherever they are. Classes are led by amazing instructors who bring all of the robot awesomeness directly to schools, community centers, or wherever there's room to build! Students have a blast building a different whimsical robot each class and bringing it home afterward for more fun. After-school classes, in-school enrichment, parties, school holidays, and summer programs are available. Don't have a Foundry near you? Energize your kid’s creativity and confidence with our new Camp Invention® program, Recharge! Campers in grades K-6 will collaborate with friends in hands-on, open-ended STEM challenges. They’ll take apart a microphone to explore its inner workings, build and test a device to launch rubber ducks, and design morphing vehicles for the Super Road Rally! Each activity is designed to inspire curiosity, spark imaginations and give your young innovator the best summer ever. The Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival is the university’s signature event, a showcase that displays the ingenuity of students, faculty and staff.
